MARKS : Twice impressed 'L & Co.', 'CYMRIC', Birmingham Assay office marks, date letter 'd' for 1903, lion passant and model number 5054.
PROVENANCE : British private collection, 2000's - Sotheby's, London, 3rd November 2008, lot 3 - Private collection, London, 2008-2018 - European private collection since 2018.
SIMILAR PIECES : There are only four clocks of this design known to exist, all with different types of stone and colours of enamel. The last clock to appear on the market was the example from the Warshawsky Collection which sold at Sotheby's, New York, on 19th May 2015, lot 105.
