PROVENANCE : Italian private collection - Collection of Lino Signaroldi, Giussago, Italy, until 2022.

EXHIBITED : This design was first shown, and most likely made for the Prima Esposizione Internazionale d'Arte Decorativa Moderna in Turin, 1902.

SIMILAR PIECES : Only three examples of this design are known to date. The other two are in the collections of the Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum, New York and the Museo Wolfsoniana in Genoa.
