EXHIBITED : This design was first shown, and most likely made for the Prima Esposizione Internazionale d'Arte Decorativa Moderna in Turin, 1902.
SIMILAR PIECES : Several examples of the armchair and settee variants of this design are known, however the only other side chair known is in the collection of MOMA, New York. Both chairs have the same upholstery, most likely original.
