NOTE : This chair is the only example known of this exact design. It is the lower variant of the chair in the collection of the Victoria & Albert Museum, London, the Walker Art Gallery, Liverpool, and the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston. It was previously believed to have bee designed by John Moyr Smith but recent studies have show that is was in fact Cottier who was responsible for the design.
