PROVENANCE : Commissioned by Mr. Frank Leslie around 1904 for his house Tewit Croft in Harrogate, Yorkshire - Thence by descent - The table stayed with the family until 2017.

NOTE : This table was part of an original set of furniture made of a table, eight chairs and a sideboard. The original drawing for the sideboard, dated 1904, is in the collection of the Cheltenham Museum and Art Gallery. Our table was photographed by Dennis Moss in 1904 when it was being completed in the workshop. The original picture is in the collection of the Leicester Museums.
