SIMILAR PIECES : Only six other armchairs are known to have survived. The oldest was given by Sydney Lewis in 1985 to the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts, Richmond. Max Palevsky reciprocated in 2008 with the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. The other chairs are respectively in the Two Red Roses Foundation, Florida, the Crab Tree Farm Collection, Illinois, and in a prominent private New York collection.
