PROVENANCE : This cabinet was part of a set of four pieces which were presumably purchased by a Parisian family shortly after the 1900 Universal Exhibition - Thence by descent until 2018.
EXHIBITED : Presumably shown at the Paris Universal Exhibition, 1900.
SIMILAR PIECES : The sideboard from the same set is now in the collection of the Musée d'Orsay, Paris - A similar cabinet is in the collection of the Oslo Kunstindustrimuseum, Inv. 6780-6797.
