PROVENANCE : Commissioned for Arthur Mitchell as a wedding present for his daughter, Mrs. R. Cole and by descent until 2017.

NOTE : A similar cabinet can be seen in a 1930's photograph of Peter Waals' Workshop, photo in the collection of the Cheltenham Museum and Art Gallery.
